In the midnight hour – Jo’s charity walk up Snowdon, Wales
Fifield Glyn are extremely proud of Jo Bosomworth who climbed Snowdon at night on Sunday 1st May 2022 by head torch to raise money for Alder Hey Children’s Hospital Charity in Liverpool.
Snowdon is the highest mountain in Wales being 3,560ft above sea level and in daylight is a huge task, but Jo decided to climb by nightfall with only a head torch, map, and moonlight for guidance!
Jo completed the climb and has raised to date £500 for Alder Hey Children’s Hospital Charity.
Alder Hey is one of Europe’s biggest and busiest children’s hospitals, treating everything from common illness to highly complex and specialist conditions. Alder Hey cares for over 330,000 children, young people and their families every year.
Since October 2013, Alder Hey Children Charity has invested £25Million into the new hospital, funding a range of life-saving medical equipment and facilities to make a real difference to families, every day.
