From 1st April 2022, Fifield Glyn take over as the property manager of Florin Court, one of the most impressive Art Deco/ Streamline examples of residential apartment buildings in London.
Located overlooking the historic Charterhouse Square, this impressive 124 apartment building was completed in 1936 by Guy Morgan and Partners, a former employee of Edward Lutyens. It is believed to be one of the earliest apartment blocks constructed in Clerkenwell. Behind its famous curved façade, upper floor balconies and projecting wings, lie a sunny roof garden, basement swimming pool, gym, yoga room, sauna, library, laundry room and underground garage.
IN the late 1980’s Florin Court became the fictional residence of Agatha Christie’s Poirot, known as Whitehaven Mansions. Filming continued until 2013 and today the only cameras pointing at the building are those of the many tourists who come to visit.
Edward Fifield commented “We are delighted to have been awarded the management of Florin Court following a personal recommendation which put us on a shortlist for a tender. It is testament to our strong team that we were able to demonstrate a full strategic understanding of what is required to fulfil this instruction, along with our professional and personal service as we continue to grow our residential portfolio.”
Fifield Glyn Currently manages more than 1,400 units throughout London, South East of England, the Midlands, Manchester and Wales.
