We are continuing to closely monitor Government advice and our first priority at Fifield Glyn is to minimise risk to staff, clients and those members of public we deal with whilst continuing to provide a high standard of service.
The procedures and policies that we are immediately adopting to minimise risk are as follows:
Fifield Glyn’s Offices
In light of Government advice and safety concerns, we have taken the decision, to temporarily allow our staff to work from home, in order to minimise the risks to them and our clients. We expect the majority of staff to adhere to this advice and as such Fifield Glyn’s offices will temporarily be closed to general visitors without appointments.
We are well prepared for our surveyors and property managers to work remotely where they will have access to our telephone systems, files and database enabling us to continue with day to day business relatively uninterrupted. We would urge Leaseholders and Tenants to report issues via Report a Fault, as this feeds into a central database which all our staff can access, in case a Property Manager is unavailable.
Property Maintenance & Reporting Faults
We would urge Leaseholders and Tenants of property managed by Fifield Glyn, to report any issues through our “Report a Fault” system: https://www.fifieldglyn.com/residential/report-fault.php
FG Portal
We would urge Leaseholders and Tenants of property managed by Fifield Glyn, to use our Portal system, which allows you to check your current balance, arrange payments and even report faults.: https://portal.fifieldglyn.com/
Appointments
Where possible and practical we will aim to have telephone or video conference meetings rather than physical meetings. If you have an appointment to visit one of our offices we will be in contact to arrange a convenient time to talk on the telephone or by What’s App (if you have a smart phone).
Property viewings
We will continue to conduct viewings subject to qualifying attendees by asking them if they have any symptoms or may have been exposed to the virus through contact or by visiting a high risk area. We will not conduct any viewing if there is a foreseeable risk to either our staff, our clients or those requesting to view a property. General hygiene
All members of staff have been briefed about the latest Government’s guidelines. Hand washing is an absolute priority and is insisted upon before and after every viewing or meeting. As far as practical staff will maintain a 2m personal space when conducting their day to day business.
Any members of staff feeling unwell or who feels that they may have been exposed to the virus have been instructed to self-isolate.
We are also arranging for our contractors who clean our managed Residential Blocks to prioritise those areas for enhanced cleaning: https://www.fifieldglyn.com/residential/NewsDetail1.php?ReleaseID=354
Continuity of business
It is our mission to continue to provide clients with the service that we are so proud to offer and upon which our reputation depends. We are well prepared for people to work remotely where they will have access to our telephone systems, files and database enabling us to continue with day to day business relatively uninterrupted.
Our priority is to keep our staff and clients safe and to continue business with as little disruption as possible. Please contact us if you have any concerns or queries regarding this.
