Congratulations to everybody who took part in the annual Gadbrook Park “Bike to Work Day” on Tuesday 16th June 2015 -supported and sponsored by the Gadbrook Park BID! The beautiful weather ensured a fantastic turn out from 100 cyclists on the day – an increase from last year’s record total.
As ever, the continued help from Stephen Hall – MD of H&M Disinfectants, was invaluable in producing what was an excellent day all round. A huge thanks to Stephen, the staff at Caffé Arabica for their excellent service and the stewards at Alpha Omega for their hard work on the day – it was greatly appreciated.
Special thanks also go to Richard from Wild Bikes in Stockton Heath for putting on a magnificent display of bikes and accessories in the gazebo at Caffé Arabica and for supplying the prizes for the grand prize draw.
All cyclists that participated were given a voucher for a free delicious breakfast sandwich and refreshing drink from Caffé Arabica, as well as entry in to the free prize draw with the chance to win a brand new bike to the value of £500!
The draw for the prizes was undertaken at Caffé Arabica, with the following lucky winners:
FIRST PRIZE – A bike worth £500 – Mark Bowyer from Roberts Bakery
SECOND PRIZE – A goody bag worth £100 – Lewis Hill from The Hut Group
THIRD PRIZE – A goody bag worth £30 – Anand Elangovan – The Hut Group
