Report a Fault It is
with great sadness that we announce that our Consultant, Alastair Gibson, died
on Thursday, 10 April 2014 after a chest infection turned into pneumonia.
Alastair
qualified in 1967 and set his own Practice up in Manchester in 1968, moving it
to Altrincham to 1975. Fifield Glyn
acquired Alastair Gibson Chartered Surveyors in May 2006 whereupon Alastair
joined FG as a Consultant and worked with us on a part time basis right up to
his death.
Shortly
after he joined FG he slipped in his bathroom at home and hit his head on a
shelf which broke his neck. He underwent several months in hospital but never
fully regained the use of all his limbs. He walked with difficulty using
sticks.
He will be remembered with affection as a kind and gentle man who gave a
devoted service to his many Clients. He was 73.
